Maricopa County Home & Garden Show returns Oct. 13-15

Featuring Drew and Jonathan Scott, HGTV’s “Property Brothers,” free crafting workshops, gardening seminars and shopping for the latest home improvements this weekend.

The Maricopa County Home & Garden Show, the largest home show in the Southwest, returns to WestWorld of Scottsdale Friday, Oct. 13 through Sunday, Oct. 15 and includes live on-stage appearances with the Scott Brothers Saturday and Sunday.

Eventgoers can gain inspiration with free seminars and crafting workshops, gardening classes, food and beverage tastings, and more, all in one location for three days.

“The Scott Brothers are home renovation legends, and we’re so excited for them to share their expertise with everyone,” said Katie Jones, show manager. “I’m also looking forward to the kids’ corner – a new all-ages workshop teaching the basics of gardening with take-home projects.”

The event will be from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Westworld of Scottsdale, 16601 N. Pima Road.

General admission tickets are $8 for adults on Friday and $12 on Saturday and Sunday. Kids ages 3 to 12 are $3. Children aged 2 and younger are free. Box office is cash only. Tickets can be purchased online at MChomeshows.com. Parking is $10.

  • Ask a Master Gardener: The Master Gardeners are highly trained experts in everything from container gardening to growing vegetables and succulents. Watch and learn as they discuss and demonstrate the basics of planting and maintaining your garden.
  • Kids’ Corner: Free do-it-yourself workshops for kids of all ages. Kids can participate in planting their own flower to take home and grow.
  • Handmade Headquarters: Free make-and-take craft workshops:

    • Tabletop Fire Bowl – It’s the ultimate home décor accent.
    • Cement Mosaics – Create your own mosaic masterpiece. 
    • Handmade Wreath – Make your own A-Door-Able wreath for the holidays.
    • Canvas Painting – Paint a fall inspired portrait with step-by-step tips. 
    • Mini Cactus – Plant your own cactus in a glass with colored sand.

  • DIY Demos and Seminars:

    • Learn how to conquer chaos in your home. Take home tips and techniques to quickly declutter and streamline your home.
    • Watch the Golden Grannies perform live during the grand opening on Friday from 10 a.m. to noon, including a not-to-be-missed special choreographed routine at 11 a.m.

  • Design Your Own Backyard or Interior Space: Free landscape consultation and take-home design with landscaping professionals, as well as complimentary interior design consultations.
