Models take the runway for the Sustainable Designer fashion show hosted by the Darien Community Association Wednesday Sept. 14.

DARIEN — From casual wear to wedding gowns, sustainable shopping was the star of the runway at the recent Darien Community Association’s Sustainable Fashion Show.
Local models showcased a variety of vintage and secondhand designer outfits, all provided by the DCA Thrift Shop and sold after the show for a fraction of the original retail cost.
The show featured iconic designer brands such as Burberry and Elizabeth Arden along with more contemporary pieces from the likes of Rag & Bone and Helmut Lang.
